  2. A UI Based Around Fulfilling Degree Requirements Currently, Degree Requirements are listed in a PDF as shown at right. These requirements are to form the basis of UI. Each user’s home page will list their particular degree requirements. Below each requirement will be listed the courses the student has taken in the past, showing their grades and credits.

  3. The Requirements and Courses • The degree table show how many credits are needed for each requirement, and totals up the amount the student has already earned. • Each requirement will have an “Add Course” link, if the credit total of the requirement has not been met.

  4. Filtering • Filtering will be used to limit the information presented to the user to only relevant choices. • When the student tries to add a course, only the courses that meet the requirement will be shown as options. Further, courses the student has already taken will be filtered out of the course options. • The student can view a full list of all courses, as well as a list of the courses offered each semester. • There will be a course page for each course showing all the semesters it has been offered.
