Work Package 1 • Tasks of WP 1 / Baltic Sailing Association: • Improve availability of market data and statistical information in the field of water tourism • Promote joint development of strategies and their implementation • Design and implement joint marketing action • Organize and / or promote transnational events and regattas, yacht harbours, sailing clubs, sailing on traditional boats Maritour Kick-off Workshop

  4. Work Package 1 • Goals: • Improve & promote information about • Sailing clubs • Yacht harbours • Maritime events and sailing competitions • Traditional ships • in the BSR Maritour Kick-off Workshop

Work Package 1 • Marketing Steps: • Develop, establish, maintain an Internet page in co-operation with www.nv-portpilot.deas information and promotion resource for the partners • Create joint promotion materials / newsletter • Present MARITOUR-partners at conferences and transnational / bilateral meetings also to win future permanent partners for the BSA as central forum for sailing tourism in the BSR Maritour Kick-off Workshop

Work Package 1 • Marketing Steps: • Organise partner’s joint participation at boat shows, fairs, events and tourism exhibitions • Establish and maintain a maritime event calendar and yacht harbours & clubs-map for all countries of the BSR • Future central contact and information point for maritime events and regattas in the BSR • Future central booking office for traditional ships in the BSR Maritour Kick-off Workshop

Work Package 1 • First Tasks: • Prepare provisional working infrastructure and staff at Hanse Sail Office Rostock • Prepare for the implementation of tasks developed by the WPs • Agree on future tasks of the organisation • Find further partners • Arrange preliminary financial plan of BSA • Identify type & rules of future organisation BSA • Liaise with similar organisations in other regions • Prepare future statutes Maritour Kick-off Workshop
