  2. COMPASS 1 1 CodeBook 2 2 Data § 3 3 § Communication Portal for Accessing Social Statistics COMPASS offers direct access to documentation of official statistical data sets. Researchers submit a request for micro-data to COMPASS, which forwards the requests to the FSO accompanied by the necessary information for drawing up contracts. The FSO establishes individual contracts with the researchers and sends them the standardised files.
