  2. 1.3.3 Finals format The premiership playoff will be conducted over two consecutive mornings and will be played in accordance with the Rules for a two day match. Where the Executive Committee calls off play on the first day of the final, or where the umpires deem no play is possible on the first day because of the state of the ground, play on the second day shall be under the rules for a one day game (See Rule 2.22). In the case of a two day match, play will commence at 8.30 am on each morning and conclude no later than 12.00 noon. (In the case of a one day match the hours of play shall be in accordance with Rule 2.4). A minimum of 40 overs per side (Under 12 to Under 16), 30 overs per side (Under 11) and 12 overs per side (Under 10) will be required to make a match. To be eligible for finals, a player must have participated in a minimum of three competition matches with the team contesting the premiership, or have contested a minimum of three lower age group matches for the same Club. If no result is achieved from the playoff match due to bad weather, state of pitch/ground etc., the team with the higher points, or if equal, the higher quotient will be declared the winner of the competition. In the event of a tie in any final, the finalists shall be declared joint premiers. Note: The Executive Committee reserves the right to decide finals format at the commencement of the season, taking into consideration registration numbers.

  3. 1.5 Point Score The Junior Registrar shall award points for each match as follows: Outright Win after 1st Innings lead 10 8 Outright Win after trailing on 1st innings 7 1st Innings Win 7 1st Innings Loss 3 Draw 5 Tie – one-day match 5 1st Innings Tie – two day match 5 Loss Outright after 1st Innings lead 3 Loss Outright after trailing on 1st Innings0 2 Team forfeiting 0 Team receiving forfeit – one day match 7 Team receiving forfeit – two day match 10 8

  4. 2.6 Substitutes 2.6 Substitutes (Law 2) Provided they are registered players of the Association, and qualified by age, up to three (3) substitutes may take the field at any time, at the discretion of the fielding team. A substitute cannot bat, bowl or keep wicket. The Umpire must be notified before a substitute player enters the field of play. The requirements of Law 2 in relation to absences from the field of greater than fifteen (15) minutes shall be observed at all times. Fielding teams that do not have 11 players to take the field MUST be offered fielders from the batting team to bring the fielding team to 11 players. The maximum numbers of substitute fielders that can be offered is 3.

Changes to age group Under 10s • 25 over matches • Retirement score of 25 • Maximum spell of 3 overs (1 x 4 overs) • Minimum of 8 bowlers used • Increase player numbers to 13 from 12 • Swap team slips at the toss • Minimum of 12 overs to constitute a game, up from 10 overs • No result = average points

  6. Changes to age group Under 11s • 30 over matches • Retirement score of 30 • Maximum spell of 3 overs • Maximum of 6 overs in an innings • Maximum of 9 overs in a match

  8. Changes to age group Under 13s • Retirement score of 50 • Maximum spell of 4 overs • Maximum of 8 overs in an innings • Maximum of 12 overs in a match

  9. Changes to age group Under 14s • Retirement score of 75 • Maximum spell of 4 overs • Maximum of 8 overs in an innings • Maximum of 12 overs in a match

  10. Changes to age group Under 15s and 16s • Retirement score of 100 • Maximum spell of 5 overs • Maximum of 10 overs in an innings • Maximum of 15 overs in a match
