  2. "Select Visible" command.. Objective : "Select Visible" Command is a handy tool to use in copy & paste operation when you have some hidden rows/columns and want to exclude them while copying the data. Where to find : The command can be added to the QAT or the Personalized Ribbon from Excel Option / Customized QAT or Customize Ribbon section. "Select Visible" is under "Commands Not in the Ribbon" option.

  3. "Select Visible" command.. Original Data : Data to be copied, with hidden columns: • If we use standard Copy & Paste : • Select the yellow area ( where columns 4-7 are hidden) • Select Copy command • Paste to the target location However, the targeted result is

"Select Visible" command.. • To get the targeted result which does not contain the hidden columns : • Select the yellow area ( where columns 4-7 are hidden) • Select Select Visiblecommand • You will see the difference in the selected area, the hidden columns will be unselected (unshaded) • Select Copycommand • Paste to the target location • Then we will get only the yellow highlighted part of the data which we want to copy 1 4 2 3 First, select the Select Visible command, then select Copy & Paste Commands 5
