  2. What to observe in the speech Different groups for the following roles: 1. Introduction: hook & lead-in (to entice listeners) 2. Main idea(s) being put forward in the body 3. Specific details which make it memorable 4. Conclusion: message/phrase we can take with us 5. Speaker’s use of voice (emphasis, pauses, etc) 6. Speaker’s use of visuals and/or body language

  3. Discussion Questions 1. Which of Matt’s 30-day challenges would be the easiest for you to accomplish? The hardest? 2. Which of his challenges was the most humorous? How did his voice or visuals make this stronger? 3. Which was the most creative? What makes it so? Did he use any special language to bring this out? 4. What aspects of this speech make it feel personal (like a story from his life)? What aspects make it feel objective (like information that others can use for their own needs)? How does he blend these?
