Europe

The Danube River, Europe's second-largest river after the Volga, originates in the Black Forest of Germany and flows over 2,850 km southeast through four Central and Eastern European capitals before emptying into the Black Sea via the Danube Delta in Romania and Ukraine. Notable areas include the confluence of Breg and Brigach in Donaueschingen, the scenic Danube Bend in Hungary, and cultural landmarks in cities such as Vienna and Belgrade. This majestic waterway offers rich history, stunning landscapes, and diverse ecosystems.
