1. Crime Alert – Robbery A case of Robbery occurred in Tsing Fat Stree, Tuen Mun recently. When a female was returning home alone at night time, four males attacked her from behind and took away some cash from her. 2. 拘捕爆竊案疑犯 近日屯門區發生多宗村屋爆竊案件，賊人趁家居無人期間，進入屋內爆竊。 經過分析賊人犯案手法後，警方隨即部署一個反爆竊行動，並成功拘捕一名男子，涉及一共三宗在三處不同鄉村的爆竊罪及一項盜竊罪。 本署希望市民提高警覺，鎖好門窗，並鼓勵市民加裝防盜設施，包括閉路電視，以避免損失。 Arrest for Burglary Cases Recently, a number of village houses in Tuen Mun were burgled whilst they were unattended. As a result of intelligence analysis and police operation, a male was arrested for three counts of burglary offence in three different villages and one count of theft offence. We would like to remind you to properly secure your flat. If possible, security measures, including the installation of CCTV system, should be enhanced.

3. Update – Tuen Mun District Metal Theft Seminar Owing to the increase in the Metal Theft cases recently, Tuen Mun Police District and New Territories North Regional Crime Prevention Office organised a ‘Metal Theft Seminar’ on 7 March 2014. Representatives of property management companies, Housing Department and recycling companies were invited to attend the event and they were briefed on the trends of Metal Theft. Update – Sexual Crime Prevention Leaflet Distribution To raise the public awareness of sexual crime in public transport, especially inside LRT compartments during rush hours, Tuen Mun Police District launched a leaflet distribution on 15 April 2014 at Tuen Mun West Rail Station and Yau Oi LRT Stop.
