  2. The Power of Direct Injection Steam Cooking No other cooking system matches steam for maintaining food weight and moisture content while retaining nutritional content and flavor. As a provider of food processing equipment and systems to large multi-national companies for over 70 years, Anderson Dahlen is a recognized leader in the design, manufacture and installation of direct-injection linear and spiral steam ovens. Today, we are helping some of the world’s largest food companies discover how spiral and linear steam ovens can improve production line systems, reduce maintenance cost and increase volume while reducing waste and overall production costs. By integrating Anderson Dahlen spiral or linear steamers into their production lines, they’re increasing capacity, boosting yields and turning bright food ideas into high-value products.

  3. Spiral Steam Ovens: Designed for Efficiency, Built to Last Stainless steel construction for maximum life and minimum maintenance Auto-balance steam containment system minimizes steam loss and energy consumption Anything that will cook in a steam environment will cook in a Checker Steamer. The gentle nature of steam cooking and the oven’s even heat makes it excellent for chicken, beef, pork, fish and packaged products. Steam cooking maximizes weight retention while the self-basting nature of spiral cooking enhances flavor. Antistratification system eliminates hot and cold spots Available in small Automatic steam control system maintains constant temperature compact sizes or large walk-in units, Checker Spiral Steam Ovens offer cooking capacities from 1,000 lbs. to over 20,000 lbs. per hour. They put more cooking power into a smaller space at lower cost than any other system. Running six to seven days a week and logging up to 6,000 run hours per year for up to 20 years, maintenance cost can be as little as $5 to $10 per hour. Belt widths from 12” to 48” allow a minimum oven footprint and space requirement The oven’s auto-balance steam containment system and unique hood designs minimize steam loss for low energy consumption. What’s more, the computer controlled Clean-In- Place (CIP) system reduces cleaning time and costs with minimum handwork. The oven’s automatic controller’s touch screen is icon-driven for ease of use. The operator sets time and temperature and the controller does the rest. What’s more, the system’s networking capability allows full integration with remote monitoring and programming on network computers or smartphones. Elevated oven box allows for easy cleaning and maintenance External center drive eliminates drive chains and maintenance Automatic CIP system provides easy cleaning with minimum handwork

  4. Linear Steam Ovens: Add Processing Power to Production Lines When used in conjunction with other cooking systems, Anderson Dahlen spiral and linear steam ovens add processing power to any production line. Fryers, belt grills, char markers, searing sections and high temperature impingement ovens are commonly mated with our steamers to optimize production line capacity and yield – all in a minimum of plant space.
