  3. What is new media? • New media is a new way of technology and is used by almost everyone. • For example: Facebook, ipod and online shopping.

  4. Disadvantages: - Distracts you from schoolwork - You don't get a lot of sleep - People get lazy and addicted Advantages and disadvantages • Advantages: - Cheap - Easy to get in contact with different countries - You are never bored

  5. New devices - These are devices made with new technology. Most of them are small and easy to carry with you. - Examples: Computer, Mobile phone, ipad and iphone Different new media • Social media - With this new media you can get in contact with different countries and make new friends. - Examples: MSN, Twitter, Facebook, Skype and Ping

  6. Examples how the new media is used • School: More work at home and less school lessons. Communicate with the teacher on chats so they can give you information. • Police: Trace offenders • Shops: Online shopping so people don't need to leave their houses.
