UAS IT Committee

The UAS IT Committee welcomes new members to discuss key agenda items essential for enhancing ICT integration in our curriculum. The meeting will cover an introduction to the committee's purpose, an open forum to identify what is working and what isn't, a comprehensive overview of the UAS IT system, and the evaluation of the one-to-one device program. We will also set priorities for the next meeting and outline responsibilities among members across various subjects. Our goal is to align IT strategies with curriculum needs and improve student learning experiences.

Areas and Responsibilities • Matthew Webster- Languages –Grades 1-6 • Kelli Lane- Math and Sciences – Grades 1-6 • Helen Ferran - Kindergarten • Joseph Provencher – Foreign languages and PE • Tiffany Affagard- English and Art • Gerard Atkinson: Math and Sciences • Sherifa Ali- Social Studies and Computer Studies • Sudha Sunder- Arabic and Islamic Studies • Simone and Eric – Secondary/Elementary IT infrastructure

GOAL 5- Curriculum Strategic PlanICT INTEGRATION INTO CORE CURRICULUM AREAS • Identify ICT deliverables that match the curriculum across disciplines • Articulate consistent expectations from teachers in terms of ICT integration in teacher appraisal forms  • Provide ongoing support and training for ICT integrated pedagogy with a clear focus on differentiation  • Develop Student Digital Portfolio Plan to enable students to take ownership in their learning
