Join me on my Language Arts journey this year as I engage in exciting projects that help us learn more about ourselves and each other. From creating an “All About Me” poster to exploring the world of Photo Stories, I've had the chance to express my creativity and share meaningful experiences. I also wrote a courageous story about a challenging time in my life, which was celebrated at our author's party. Additionally, our word study practices helped us improve our understanding of language. Explore my projects through the links provided!

All About Me The first project we did this year was to complete a poster that was all about ourselves. We did this to learn more about the other students in our class. Please click on the link below to take a look at my “All About Me.” All About Me
Photo Story’s Another project we worked on in Language Arts was our Photo Story's. You might be wondering what a photo story is. A Photo story is a story that you write, then you use Microsoft Photo Story to add photos to the story. That is what a photo story is. Please click the link below to see what I did for my photo story. Photo Story
Courage Story Also during Language Arts, we wrote courage story’s. My courage story was about the time I broke my arm. At the end of the process, we got to have an author’s party to celebrate the finishing of our story’s. At the party, we recorded our story’s while reading them. Word Study One last thing that we do in Language Arts is practice word study. What we do in word study is we practice Adjectives, Pronouns, Nouns, Verbs, and Prepositions. Then Mrs. Cook hands out a packet that we do as homework and complete that at home as practice. That is what we do in word study.
