  8. Reader Profile • My typical reader would be a late teen early 20s, with not much spare money to spend on unnecessary items. Due to this, and his love for indie music (he is a big fan of the arctic monkeys and bands of that style), a weekly music magazine that he will buy not all the time, but will if the cover interests him is all he really wants. Modern, indie bands interest him, yet he often looks for a second opinion before he buys the bands latest CD. This is one of the main reasons he buys the magazine, as he shares the opinions of most of the writers. The catalogue of reviews is important to him as well. The reader is not just into albums, he is a fan of singles as well, so the free CD of new singles appeals to him greatly. The massive list of gigs in the back also make him want to purchase it, as a large percentage of his wage does tend to be splashed on gigs (he cant help it).
