  1. ProFIS Net – Das ProFIS-Internet-Tool – Serverdienst, der dem Endbenutzer erlaubt, über einen Browser auf die ProFIS-Daten zuzugreifen • Interessant bei: • langsamer Netzanbindung (Außenstellen, Home- Arbeitsplätze) • langsamen Arbeitsplatzrechnern • Rechnern ohne Officeinstallationen

  2. Vorteile: • Software auf Client: beliebiger javascriptfähiger Browser • Auf Client kein Office oder Windows notwendig, d. h. keine zusätzlichen Lizenzkosten • äußerst geringe Hardwareanforderungen auf dem Client • kein Installationsaufwand auf dem Client • Endbenutzer hat keinen direkten Zugriff auf die Datenbank • weniger Netzwerkverkehr als beim Basissystem • Zusätzliche Funktion zum Basissystem: die Vergleichsanalyse (Ziel ist der interkommunale Kennzahlenvergleich)
