This guide provides an overview of the four fundamental types of sentences: declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory. Each type serves a distinct purpose in communication. Declarative sentences state facts and end with a period, while interrogative sentences ask questions and end with a question mark. Imperative sentences issue commands and can end with a period or exclamation point, and exclamatory sentences convey strong emotions, always ending with an exclamation point. Examples and a fun assignment are included for better understanding.
