  2. Navigation acts 1650-1700s The patriots had to pay for all incoming items from Britain. The patriots started smuggling. The act =

  3. Proclamation of 1763 King George recognized rites of the Indians and did not let colonist to settle west of the appellation mountains. The act made the colonist angrier at Britain. the proclamation bottom of page in different language.

  4. Sons of liberty Was founded by Sam Adams and it was a major group agents Britain. They burned ethogies and held regular meetings and also they done the Boston tea party. Sons of liberty symbol

  5. Stamp Act 1765 Taxed anything printed on paper, The colonist resent British rule and made them even madder at the Britain. Common stamps put on things.

  6. Declaratory Act 1765 Said that parliament could tax them on any thing they wanted. The resentment in colonist grew. The declaratory act

  7. Quartering Act 1765 It made the colonist house and feed the British. Increased the tension with the colonist.

  8. Townshend Act 1767 Made taxes on all imported goods like tea, glass, paper, to pay for rising military cost., increased smuggling.

  9. Boston Massacre 1770 A deadly riot resulting in 5 colonist deaths. Used as propaganda to help more colonist join the cause.

  10. Tea act, Boston Tea Party1773 On 12,16,1773 the sons of liberty dressed as native Americans and through 342 chest of tea into Boston harbor.

  11. Coercive (Intolerable) acts(1774) They where harsh laws to make colonist pay for the tea and to keep the colonist from planning other attacks.
