This project represents a collaboration between the Technion - Israeli Institute of Technology and Intel Inc., focusing on creating a sophisticated channel emulator. Students Eldad Klaiman and Asaf Gur-Arie developed the system integration driver and GUI programming, while Yaron and Oded handled FIR VHDL coding. The emulator features a configurable digital filter, supporting a sampling rate of 62.5 MHz, 8-bit data representation, and 128 coefficients. The project includes an easy-to-use software interface for channel parameter selection, statistics display, and communication with network controllers.
