  2. Who is your presenter? Iain Baird taught as a secondary Science for 35 years Iain has been involved with Global Education for 20 years Iain left teaching in 2012 in order to establish World Class Citizens Ltd in order to support global learning in schools. Iain provides primary and secondary classroom activities days on global education topics, particularly Africa. He has travelled to Kenya many times and leads a six school student exchange project called Tujuane. Iain is a British Council Professional Ambassador

  3. Aims of this presentation? How can a study of the Amazon rainforest help to cover some of the requirements of the new KS2 Geography National Curriculum PoS. Which countries in North and South America are part of the British Council Connecting Classrooms Programme? Where can you obtain resources to support classroom activities on rainforests? How can a carry out a simple rainforest science activity in the classroom?
