  2. Click Check your browser If your browser is not compatible, then use another

  3. Click Student

  4. Click In US or Canada

  5. Your professor has given you a course ID, click Yes.

  6. Enter the Course ID as given, click Go.

  7. If you DO have an access code, click Yes and Next

  8. If you DO NOT have an access code, click No and Next SKIP THIS SLIDE if you already have an access code.

  9. SKIP THIS SLIDE if you already have an access code. Select the exact textbook that you are using for your class as given by the instructor, you may have to use the or button to scroll through the various book.

  10. SKIP THIS SLIDE if you already have an access code. For example in the Astronomy 2 class, you would select the Cosmic Perspective: The Solar System, 7/e, as shown above.

  11. SKIP THIS SLIDE if you already have an access code. You can decide to purchase an eText or not.

  12. Enter your 6-partAccess Code HERE Do you have a Pearson Education account? Select: • No if this is your first Pearson product. • Yes if you have another Pearson Account • Not Sure Create a Login Name and Password Confirm Password. Click Next

  13. Enter First Name, Last Name, and Email Address Enter School Country, Zip Code, School Name

  14. Select a Security Question and answer it. Click Next

  15. Read the Privacy Policy and License Agreement Click I Accept

  16. For online purchase, you will need a major credit card. SKIP THIS SLIDE if you are NOT purchasing access online.

  17. CONGRATULATIONS! You have successfully registered for MasteringAstronomy. Click Log In Now

  18. Your instructor may provide specific instructions for completing this field. If so, enter the appropriate information and click Continue. If you are not sure what to enter, contact your instructor or click Skip This Step. (You can enter your Student ID later.)
