  1. Share Information Across the Entire Farm Welcome August 21, 2012

  2. 2013 Feature Enhancements • Advanced Feature Guidance Line Management • CNH - Guidance Line Changes

  3. Recent 2012 Enhancements • Mapping • Changed Read Job Data and Process Inbox to ignore feature lines that go to the North Pole • Updated Crop Insurance Functionality for the following: • Additional data attributes including FSA Farm, Field, and Tract #s. • Longer usernames & passwords for submitting data to Great American Insurance • Updated Crop, Practice & Type lists to match RMA lists. • The program now defaults the Practice & Type lists based on the State, County and Commodity for the field. • Enabled Background Imagery button so it works while you are in Edit mode. • Updated Job Efficiency Report to include Client & Farm & Job Type in the Export (.csv). Additionally the printed report prints sub-totals by Client, Farm and Field. • Right-click option on enterprises to print Enterprise Statement – Traditional. • Added support for writing to Claas new terminals (ISOXML file format). • Updated Read Job Data for Trimble Data that includes yield so there is now an “Advanced Setup Button” that can be used to change delays. Also added an option to “Ignore Harvest Coverage Events” so the program will only read in the point data and not the polygon/coverage data. • Updated John Deere FODD for GS3 data (already available via Check for Updates) • Updated Precision Planting FODD for new firmware (will be available soon via Check for Updates). • Updated Read Job data to default to the previous directory used. If this is the first time reading data for a device, it defaults to a blank directory. In the past the program would default to c:\farmproj (if a previous directory was unavailable) which resulted in a slow display with some monitors. • Updated Write Job Data for the FmX (and Resource List with Connected Farm) so Job Types are written out as directories under each field. This makes it possible to select “Job Types” as “Events” on the FmX and FM1000 without selecting the “New” button. • Updated Write Job Data for the FmX (and Resouce List with Connected Farm) so you can now select which Job Types to send to the FmX or FM1000 (to be used as Events). • Added support for N, P and K data collected with new CFX firmware. The attributes show up on the “Job Summary” report and can be edited using the “Notes” button in the Job Properties box.

  4. Recent 2012 Enhancements • Surface • Changed the program so you can now edit lines on the Drainage Completed Layer. When this is done, the Profile View will not display the pipe profile for any section that has been moved. Additionally, the Surface profile will not be displayed if a line is moved outside an area where elevation data is available. • The Profile View will now always display the profile for section lines. Even if there is no surface topographic data. • Updated Drainage Design so Enter key will not clear the screen. • Laterals created on the FmX display the outlet at the end of the line (where the line was completed on the FmX). • Updated A/B Line Management as described in detail in Product Bulletin. • Added a “Smoothing” option in the Drainage Design area that works with the FmXAutoSlope functionality. • Updated Map Printing with Surface so tile lines that have multiple tile sizes will print lengths on a map when Range Count is turned on. Additionally, updated the Map Information Area to show Minimum, Maximum and Average figures for tile lines. • The Offset option now uses the selected lines Autoslope Parameters (previously it would use the default settings). • Changed splitting section lines so that all parts default to the original attributes. • Changed the default for “Outlets” so it is always the last point that is read in. • Updated the program so the Outlet Depth can be lower than the Maximum Depth (which conforms with the way WM Drain behaves). • Updated Topographic maps for scenarios where the boundary did not line up with the topographic data and you could get a small area of topography that was incorrect. • Updated Surface generations so Benchmark points are no longer included in calculations. • Updated Surface Maps where boundaries do not match topographic data. In some scenarios where there was a gap between the boundary and the topographic data, you could get a narrow strip of topographic data with values that did not match the adjoining data. This is no longer the case.

  5. Recent 2012 Enhancements • Mobile • Mobile support for Windows Mobile 6.5 For new Juno 3B and 3D • Updated Real-Time VRA with Greenseeker so Auto-Cal formulas can never be renamed and changed the program so formulas that are in use cannot be deleted. • Updated Real-Time VRA with Greenseeker so the Auto-Cal formula now has 6 rows with the bottom row going from … to .01. • Updated Real-Time VRA with Greenseeker so the Auto-Cal formula allows you to add and delete any row (in the past you could only add or delete the top row). • Added support for Com Ports that are greater than 9 (which can occur with the Yuma Docking Station). • Accounting • Marketing Enterprise Statements no longer shows all costs regardless of sales. Costs are now pro-rated with sales. • Fixed bug where Voiding/Editing Animal Events (Birth, Death and Transfer) would crash with some non-English languages.

  6. Advanced Guidance Line Mgmt • Feature lines are associated with operation type: planting, tillage, harvest. Completed design can then be exported to FmX or sent wirelessly via Connected Farm Import and edit / duplicate / offset as design requires Use advanced features to incorporate levee or other features

  37. GREENSEEKER® HANDHELD CROP SENSOR OVERVIEW The GreenSeeker® handheld crop sensor is an affordable, easy to use measurement device that can be used to assess the health—or vigor—of a crop. Readings taken can be used to make non-subjective decisions regarding the amount of fertilizer to be applied to a crop, resulting in a more efficient use of fertilizer—a benefit to both a farmer’s bottom line and the environment.

  38. GREENSEEKER® HANDHELD CROP SENSOR DISPLAY SCREEN Easy to read display—even in sunlight—provides NDVI readings to categorize the health of the plant BATTERY TRIGGER Long-lasting rechargeable battery Simple pull-type trigger designed for minimal operator fatigue HANDLE Comfortable hand grip SENSOR MICRO USB CHARGING PORT High-quality optical sensor instantly measures plant vigor Provides a direct connection to recharge the handheld without the need to remove and replace the battery

  39. GREENSEEKER® HANDHELD CROP SENSOR HOW IT WORKS Pulling the trigger turns it on, emits brief bursts of red and infrared light, and then measures the amount of light that is reflected back at the sensor. It continues to sample the scanned area while the trigger remains engaged. The sensor displays the measured value in terms of an NDVI reading on its LCD display screen. NDVI readings can range from 0.00 to 0.99; the higher the reading, the healthier the plant.
