  3. What is there to do https://summit.scouting.org/en/Jamboree2013/Pages/Be-Prepared.aspx https://summit.scouting.org/en/Jamboree2013/Pages/Activities.aspx https://summit.scouting.org/en/Jamboree2013/Pages/Activities.aspx

  4. The pools http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=BfZp02GVMqA The Summit will offer your favorites in aquatic activities, along with new water-based challenges. Get suited up for SCUBA. Get ready for kayaking. But save some energy for Dragon Boat racing, the Mariner Adventure and a water obstacle course.

  5. biking There is no shortage of two-wheeled fun at the Summit. The High Gear course is designed for mountain bikes, including a no-pedal-power-necessary pump track. The Low Gear course for mountain bikes features 27 miles of crosscountry trails and a downhill course to challenge the best riders. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdL6lyPbTAc&feature=player_embedded

  6. The park • Get ready to get your shred on at an X Games-quality skate park. Skateboarding at the Summit Bechtel Reserve offers something for every ability, from beginner to seasoned thrasher. Build up your skill in the bowl, reach new heights on the vert ramp, or grind out new combos street-style in the park. We've even got a foam pit for you to try tricks that really push your skill level. • http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eRJk9J5WW-k&feature=player_embedded

  7. The ZIP and canopy If you like going fast and having a bird's eye view, clip in to the zip lines that will zig and zag over Adventure Valley at the Summit. We'll have miles and miles of aerial adventure, including Zip Zilla — five parallel zip lines over 3,000 feet long. Reach speeds of up to 50 MPH as you soar over The Summit on one of the longest zip line courses in all of North America. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=AvzaSDz-Wdc

  8. The barrels http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USsxBDjvNLc&feature=player_embedded The best sporting clay course in the country? That's right. Right here at the Summit. Sixty acres is plenty of room for increased safety and well over 100 stations, all just for Scouts and Venturers. Shooting sports at the Summit will include shotguns, rifles and even pistols. If marksmanship is in your sights, head for The Range.

  9. The bows http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iShmYKVz0Kw&feature=player_embedded You've never seen archery quite like this! The Summit will feature traditional training with bows, but Scouts and Venturers will be able to try something completely new: sporting arrows. Much like the shotgun sport, this archery activity will challenge you to hit moving targets as they launch through the air.

  10. The rocks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSEoIebdCAc&feature=player_embedded#! The New River Gorge climbing scene offers climbs to match the skills of all comers. We've recreated that same experience at The Rocks, a combination of nature and ingenuity that brings the best of the gorge right on site at the Summit. This is man-made climbing, but you might not realize it if we didn't tell you. Built by the best in the business to blend in with the West Virginia terrain, get ready to boulder, climb and rappel at the Summit.
