Tuesday 25th January, 1892 Price 6d Est. 1869 A Giant Peach!!! Today, a giant peach started growing in the garden of Miss Spiker and Miss Sponge. James, a small boy and nephew of the Aunts said, “ it just kept getting bigger and bigger until it was ginormous!” Miss Spiker looked surprised and commented on the amount of money she could make from the enormous fruit. Miss Sponge, however was reported to have been drooling! Young James Henry Trotter was amazed and was quoted as saying, “I have never seen anything like it in my life!” Will this enormous fruit stop growing? Green table will report on its size in tomorrow’s edition! Reported by Green table.

  2. Aarrrggghhhh Shark! Giant peach in danger as shark attack looms! The Old Post will bring you updates as they happen! Reported by Yellow table The clever young boy, James, thought of an idea to save the crew and get the giant peach to safety but it would take some amazing teamwork to pull it off. A giant spider and a giant worm appear to be working together alongside the boy in an effort to rescue them. A terrifying event took place out at sea today. A giant shark was seen chasing a giant peach! The shark was reported to have a mouth the size of a double decker bus! It headed toward the giant peach at speed and the outlook for the crew of the peach wasn’t good. A giant centipede was seen pulling faces at the shark but a young boy and a collection of giant insects were reported to have been very frightened!

  3. Amazing Seagull Rescue! the seagulls, it wasreported that the boy tied the silks to the stalk of the peach in an effort to lift it from the shark infested water. Amazingly, the fishermen saw the peach being lifted from the sea with around 500 seagulls heading across the Atlantic towards New York city. A cheer was heard coming from the peach, reportedly from the giant insects and small boy on board. Reported by Blue table A giant spider spun an enormous web around a giant peach! A peach was spotted at sea hanging out of the net. As the seagulls reached the giant peach, the boy, a James Trotter, used more of the spiders silk to lasso the seagulls as they flew closer to inspect the worm. Once the boy lassoed Fishermen described the events as unbelievable as a worm was thrust from the peach in an effort to attract seagulls. A flock of seagulls were then seen approaching the peach with a screaming giant worm h with an enormous net around it apparently spun by a giant spider. The spider was instructed by a small boy tospin an enormous web and to net the peach and all its crew.

  4. Aunts Jailed! Evil Aunts were today jailed for appalling child abuse! Once the giant peach and its crew had been rescued by the city officials the full horror of the boy’s life was explained. As the children of New York feasted on the juicy fruit, Janes Henry Trotter explained that after losing his parents in a freak accident he was sent to live with his aunts and the treatment was ‘just horrible!’ The aunts denied all charges but police officers witnessed there abusive manner towards the boy upon his return. Miss Spiker and Miss Sponge will now be kept in New York city jail awaiting trial. Reported by Red table Two women were arrested and today for abusing a young boy. A young boy arrived in New York today aboard a fruit only to discover the beings were merely a young boy and his friends. The boy had escaped his aunts in the giant peach and had journeyed for days and overcome many dangers. giant peach. The peach had landed on top of the Empire State Building. Terrified crowds below watched in horror as the unidentified beings aved from high above. Police officials and fire crews went to investigate the giant

Creature Success! the city millions in electricity by lighting up the Empire State Building, the grasshopper is now a member of the New York City Orchestra and the ladybird is now happily married to the head of the fire department. James Trotter was reported to have said “I wish my friends all the luck in their new found positions and expect I will see them regularly…I owe my life to them!” James now intends to write a book about his adventures and help the children of the city. Reported by Orange table. Boy says farewell to amazingly talented creatures. James Henry Trotter today a glow-worm and a ladybird. James, who now lives in the stone of the peach in Central Park, said he was very proud of his brave friends. The centipede is now a vice president of a shoe today said goodbye to his crew of the giant peach. James had travelled to New York aboard the peach with a crew made up of a spider, a centipede, a grasshopper, an earthworm, a silk worm, factory, the earthworm has now been employed to star in beauty commercials, the silk worm and Miss Spider now have a factory making ropes for tightrope walkers, the glow-worm is saving
