Though formulated as an OA flux for electronics, it is used for many industrial applications. • In 1995, Superior introduced the zinc-chloride-free, ZC-Free™ line of industrial fluxes to help eliminate heavy-metal residues from industrial soldering applications.

  11. INDUSTRIAL FLUX AND SOLDER PASTES Superior No. 144 is the base for soldering copper, brass, bronze, and stainless steel. Additional pastes are available in rosin formulations. All can be formulated for tin/lead and lead-free solder alloy powders.
