  2. UMMS Role in Training • Contracted by MassHealth • Training audience is One Care plan staff and contracted providers • Creation of One Care training and shared learning opportunities

  3. One Care Training and Shared Learning Opportunities • A phased approach that is sensitive to the timing associated with plans hiring of staff and the development of their networks • Early phases focus on online mechanisms notably, webinars and a Shared Learning website • Later phases include in-person learning sessions and online modules

  4. Training Content and Learning Session Resources • Content matter experts • Specialists in adult learning approaches • One Care consumer consultants • Consumer presenters • Input from One Care plans • All topics and items are reviewed and approved by MassHealth

Learning Conferences • Each learning session will be offered twice to plan staff and providers • Session 1: 10/23, Boxborough & Winter 2014 Focus areas: • One Care foundational information • Paradigm shift in providing care • Person-centered team-based approach to care • Session 2: To be scheduled and focus areas yet to be decided

  9. Online Training Modules • One Care Introduction • Recovery Model • ADA Self-assessment • Ombudsman • Additional topics yet to be decided • Content informed by feedback from webinars
