Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) • 정의 • 사전적 정의 • A set of applications designed to bring business functions into balance and represents the next generation of business systems. – by Gartner group • An accounting-oriented information system for identifying and planning the enterprise-wide resources needed to take, make, ship, and account for customer orders. – by APICS • 용어적 의미 • Enterprise –모든 사업분야 • Resource –기업을 운용하기 위하여 필요한 모든 유무형의 자원 • Planning –계획의 생성 및 정보의 취득 및 조회 • 정리 • 기업 내의 생산, 물류, 재무, 회계, 영업, 구매, 마케팅, 인사 등 주요 업무 프로세스들을 유기적으로 연결하고, 유무형 자원을 통합하여 관리함으로써, 업무의 생산성을 높이고, 정보의 실시간 공유를 통해 각 부문이 신속하게 정보를 활용할 수 있도록 하는 기업정보시스템
