Overview • Status of current AIM I/II courses • Status of curriculum developer course (CPPD) • CCMM role for CSFE • Implementation planning for Center role in AIM user training • CPM/LO Module training
Status of current AIM I/II courses • AIM I and AIM II Rel 4.0 user training courses: • updated by AIM team per current release • used monthly in Norfolk and San Diego convenings • provided to CSFE as basis for formal Navy CIN-based curricula and segmentation to support lab sessions in new curriculum developer courses
Status of Curriculum Developer course • CD JDTA approved • BCA in final stages for all three strands of the CD course (NAVEDTRA 130, 131, and 136) • TPP due to NETC 31 May • Course to be piloted by CPPD with AIM II-based lab sessions in Jan/Feb 11 • AIM I version to be piloted in early FY12 • CPM/LO Module version planned for late FY12
CCMM role for CSFE • Baselining current AIM I Rel 4.0 and AIM II Rel 4.0 user training courses provided by AIM PM • TPP for new formal version of AIM II is in review by Centers in preparation for submittal to NETC/OPNAV • TPP for new formal version of AIM I is expected to be in review by Centers by 30 May 2010 • Working with CPPD to modularize AIM I/II user training as lab sessions in consolidated Curriculum Developer (CD) courses • AIM I / II / LO delivery in addition to CD Courses
Planning for Center role in AIM user training • NETC N74 and AIM PM to schedule and conduct Center-based “train the trainer” courses on both coasts in mid/late 2010 • Centers to nominate students for “train the trainer” courses based NETC-defined pre-requisites • Center-based AIM user training to begin in early FY11 • AIM PM will support Learning Center CCMM via TSA Role
CPM/LO Module training • AIM team amplifying baseline CD JDTA/TTA with KSATRs for CPM/LO Module • CPM/LO Module-based ILT learning content design and development underway per AIM PM direction • 4-day formal CPM/LO Module ILT convenings scheduled to begin in Oct 10 • frequency based on demand • conducted by AIM team trainers in Norfolk and San Diego
