By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. 1 John 4:7 “Beloved, let us love one another:…” 1 John 4:11-12 “we ought also to love one another”

  3. Do Not Speak Evil of Others “Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.” James 4:11 Harsh words about those absent Criticize a person = less you think of them Critical because they are not like us Quit this evil speaking - we are brethren

He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.” James 4:11 Condemns the law of God Violate law of love when we speak evil of brother Lack of love is reason for evil speaking Be doers of law not a judge

  5. Love Your Neighbor as Yourself “If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:” James 2:8 Golden rule - Matthew 7:12 Love covers 1 Pet. 4:8 NKJV “love will cover a multitude of sins." Prov. 10:12 NKJV “But love covers all sins.”

  6. Love Your Neighbor as Yourself Galatians 5:15 “But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.” 13. For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.”

Love Your Neighbor as Yourself Be Kind to One Another Affectionate, loving, gentle, desire to help others Colossians 3:12 (ESV) “Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, Ephesians 4:32 NKJV “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you.”

  9. Be At Peace With All Men Romans 12:18 “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.” “Let him seek peace, and pursue it.” 1 Pet. 3:11 What if someone does us wrong ? Continue to Love Them Let God take the Vengeance - Rom. 12:19 Let God be the Judge - James 4:12

  10. Be At Peace With All Men Matthew 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers.” Problems sometimes need to be settled. If we have problems with another then seek a peacemaker and get the difficulty resolved. Continue to Love Them

  12. 1 John 4:20-21 20. If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? 21. And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.” Love God Then Love the Brethren
