  3. 167 municipalities and cities in Serbia 140 youth offices in Serbia 120 youth offices within the Association 71,86%of youth/young people have their representative in the Association 17 members of the presidency 110 local action plans 44% of young people participated in working groups in developing local action plans 9 different working areas of the Association 4 different services offered by the Association National Association of local youth offices

Association represents one national entity which works with young people • Another effort in order for youth to participate and raise voice of young people through Youth offices and local community • Initiated by coordinators of Youth offices and supported by the Ministry of youth and sport National Association of local youth offices

  5. Association should contribute to better quality of networking and better communication of Youth offices throughout Serbia in order to improve the work quality of youth offices • The role of the Association is to provide quality of youth policy implementation and to raise services towards young people to a higher level as well as to determine a mechanism for youth office and youth organizations networking both in the country and abroad National Association of local youth offices

  6. Association of local youth offices is an organization which tends to create society where young people are empowered, included in decision making process and provides the ability to fulfill the needs of young people National Association of local youth offices VISION

Association responds to needs of youth offices in networking, positioning of youth offices as sustainable system and evenly capacity building of all Youth offices in order to create the same initial conditions to realize the potential of every young person in Serbia National Association of local youth offices MISSION

Improvement of legal framework and general conditions for local institutional system development of youth policy in Serbia • Developing and improving of local youth policy in cities and municipalities in Republic of Serbia through work of local youth offices • Achievement of the common interests of municipalities and cities in the area of ​​local youth policy National Association of local youth offices AIMS

WHY IS THE ASSOCIATION IMPORTANT? • Systematic approach in implementing national youth policy on a local level consists of four phases: • Local action planning LAP • The LAP audit – monitoring and evaluation of LAP results • Youth office work standards and local coordinators competences • Systematic and professional support for youth offices and coordinators National Association of local youth offices

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT • Creating of a four year long strategic plan • Creating of institutional/program budget and business plan • Empowerment of coordinators and youth office capacities (experts, trainers, LAP) • Work with other organizations • Providing continuous support throughout services for youth offices National Association of local youth offices
