  2. !*!Fact File!*! • Capital: Dhaka • Population: 144,319,628 (2005) • Location: Southern Asia, bordering the bay of Bengal, between Burma and India • Currency: Taka (BDT) • Climate: Tropical in mild winter (October to March) • Hot and humid in Summer (March to June) • Humid with a warm and rainy monsoon (June to October) • Religions: Muslim (83%) and Hindu (16%) then other is only 1% • Ethnic groups: Bengali (98%), tribal groups. Non Bengali Muslims
