  3. Step one: the battery Attach charged battery onto the back of the camera. (Sliding motion, the arrow points up)

  4. 2 1 STEP TWO: ADD A BLANK TAPE Slide the OPEN/EJECT button on the bottom of the camera.Wait for a few seconds while it opens and then put in the tape..It will then lower itself into the camera automatically . Don’t force it in or you will damage it. Once it looks like picture 3 you can close the camera back up and use the tape. 3

  5. Step three: White balance Press the buttons encircled

  6. Once you’ve set the white balance onto ‘one push’ put a piece of paper into the area you'll be filming in. Then focus onto the piece of paper, there should be nothing else on view but the piece of paper to get the correct white balance

  7. Step four: Focus Switch to manual (switch circled in red) Zoom into the area you are filming and then twist the silver focus ring (circled yellow) to focus.Then zoom out and start recording.

  8. Step five: Camera stand

  9. Screw the piece circled in red onto the bottom of the camera. Twist the silver handle in picture two to screw it on securely You need this piece to attach the camera onto the stand. Slide the camera front first onto the stand shown in picture three. 1 2 3

  10. 4. Turn this lever the to position shown to secure the camera tightly in place on the stand

  11. Step six: The microphone Attach A to B A B

  12. It should then be connected like so…

  13. Then slide the adaptor onto the top of the camera

  15. Female wire connected into microphone adaptor Place the rifle microphone into mic holder Insert earphones to clearly check if microphone works

  16. You can also attach a boom when you want to capture sound from further away.
