Ithaca College is implementing a new standardized address format to improve mail delivery and reduce issues such as delayed or returned mail. The previous addressing system led to confusion and misdelivery, often resulting in mail being rerouted to incorrect locations. The new format includes clear specifications for departments and student residences, ensuring that mail is correctly routed and arrives on time. This change aims to enhance the efficiency of mail services and ensure reliable delivery to the college's various locations.
