  1. NEVADA BY: ALINA BAIG

  2. Water Spots Located on 11 lush acres, Mandalay Bay Beach is a world-famous aquatic playground featuring 2,700 tons of real sand, a 1.6 million gallon wave pool and 100 rentable cabanas, day beds, bungalows and personalized villas. Overlooking this expanse, the Beachside Casino offers three indulgent stories of glass-fronted, climate-controlled gaming, private living and luxuriating. Also set among Mandalay Beach is the optional™ Moore Beach Club, with exclusive dipping pools, cushioned chaise lounges, relaxing day beds and a private pavilion

  3. FunGaming At the base of the Sierra and in the shadow of the cities of Reno and Sparks lies the oasis of family fun known as Wild Island. Escape to The Island and chill out in summer at the water park or play all year long at Coconut Bowl, High Ball city, Laser Mazes, Pirate Cove Black Light Mini Golf, Go Karts, Outdoor Mini Golf and the other attractions on the dry side of The Island. Wild Island. It’s FUNTASTIC for everyone from 2 to 92!

  4. Fun Gaming Animal Ark, a non-profit organization, is a wildlife sanctuary and education center. The mission of Animal Ark is to inspire environmental stewardship through wildlife education - and educational recreation! Since 1981, Animal Ark has provided a safe haven for injured, abandoned and otherwise non-releasable wildlife. Animal Ark is open six days a week to the public and offers special events every month. Come and visit the animals!

  5. Historical Sight To inspire, through educational exhibits and programs, a better understanding and appreciation of the natural world, the sciences, and ourselves.

  6. Cultural Northern Nevada's story is a story worth telling. With our region's outstanding natural beauty, its wide variety of cultural activities and our excellent hotel casino-resorts, we provide the cultural tourist with an ideal destination. A distinctive experience awaits our visitors; an experience associated with people, places, learning and ideas; places and activities that authentically represent the rich western heritage of Northern Nevada

  7. Shopping Amazing Las Vegas shopping institution, The Fashion Show mall boasts no less than seven anchor stores, including Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus, as well as 250 specialty shops and restaurants.

  8. FOODSLEEP H & H BBQ The Flamingo Hotel The smoke from a wood-fire oven enhances meat with complex flavors and can create a smoke screen so that no one sees you eat an entire roast boar. The Flamingo was not the first hotel in Las Vegas. The Flamingo that you can check into today is not the actual Flamingo that was built as a result of Bugsy Siegel’s dream, but the fame remains the same. Benjamin Siegel was gunned down before that original Flamingo was fully constructed, but its fame rests on it being the hotel that sparked every enormous casino-based hotel to follow. Today’s Flamingo Hotel offers a large fitness center stocked with state-of-the-art equipment, a full service spa, the adults-only Go Pool, a wildlife habitat and a casino with 1,600 slot machines and 70 gaming tables.

  9. OUTDOORS No trip to Las Vegas should be complete without paying a visit to the Hoover Dam, just outside of the city. The most popular way to visit is probably via one of the many hundreds of helicopter trips that are available from The Strip, but this time we decided to go by car.
