1. Android vs iOS App Development: A worthy comparison There has been a revolution in Mobile app development. Mobile app developers are in huge demand since the businesses are behind growing through Mobile app solutions. The number of apps to download from the play and app stores is significantly large. If you don’t have a mobile solution for your business today then you are lacking behind as it provides a large user base. Android and iOS are the two operating systems for mobile app development. So, which one should you choose? Given below are some parameters that would lead to a fair comparison. 1. Market share We all are aware of the fact that there is only one manufacturer which produces for iOS and that is Apple. But for Android devices, there are thousands of small as well as large companies. The huge supply helps in curtailing the price and very cheap Android devices such as smartphones, tablets etc. are present in the market which has given Android a lion’s share in the market. 2. Development time As a developer or an owner definitely the development time is of great importance as it can influence your resources and chances of generating more revenues. Testing on Android’s wide range of devices will surely take time as you fix issues on one device after the other. If the app works well on one device and not on other then you will have to take necessary modifications. Similar is not the case in iOS app development.

2. 3. App revenue and spending power iOS app development services definitely benefit more here. An iOS user is sure to spend more on iOS app devices than the Android user on an average. Thus iOS app development companies can earn larger revenues than the Android app development companies. An average iOS app makes 45% more profit than an average Android app. 4. Manufacturers With Android, the development takes place not for just one Android-based device but a for a thousand other devices also. You can run the Android apps on not just smartphones but smart TVs, wearable devices, or media streaming devices. iOS app development will mean fewer configurations to make as you will have only a few gadgets at your disposal. This also paves the way for fewer fragmentation issues during the development process. 5. Screen and Resolution Android application development involves designing for different screen sizes and resolutions. Meanwhile, iOS involves a more uniform size range which can lessen your burden of so many considerations. How your app will function on various models, the hardware compatibility and individual features and capabilities of different phone models should be focused on. Thus you see that Android app development services and iOS app development services both have their own pros and cons. But if you want to target a larger audience ranging from low-income groups to middle and high-income groups then Android app development is definitely a great choice. As far as market demographics, IDE features and nature of programming language is considered it is a draw. Yet it depends on your choice of application development to decide which one suits you better.
