Supported Strategies Con’t. • Internet access- research, check grades, etc. • Take notes • Download videos (Khan Academy or Podcasts) • Blog access during class – notes posted by teacher • Listen to music during transition/lunch • Cyber bullying has been addressed in Advisory • “What You Should Know about Social Networking, The Internet and Your Child” (presentation Jan 22 by Commonwealth Attorney’s Office)

RESULTS • Students learning how to use mobile devices as learning tools in a positive way • Fewer cell phone violations • Quieter halls and cafeteria • Less paper usage • More homework submitted with electronic option • Teachers are moving away from traditional teaching strategies – engaging digital natives And now a few testimonials…
