Daily Heart Failure Management: Understand Your Zones for Better Health

Managing heart failure requires daily attention to your symptoms and weight. Weigh yourself each morning before breakfast and compare it to the previous day. Take your medications as prescribed, and monitor for swelling in your feet, ankles, and abdomen. Maintain a low-salt diet and balance your activity with rest. Identify your heart failure zone: GREEN (under control), YELLOW (warning), or RED (emergency). Knowing your zone helps you take appropriate action for your health. Always consult your doctor for any concerning changes.
