Club Funding • Final Day to use your $300 budget is Monday June 16th! • New President/ Treasurers Contact Information ASAP • For Clubs that want to be active during Summer B: • Club Funding Workshop on Friday, June 27th • Access to re-registration and funding quiz starts June 27th • Re- registration and quiz is due June 30th • For clubs that want to be active during the Fall Semester: • ClubFunding WorkshopFriday, September 12th • Access to re-registration and funding quiz starts September 12th • Re-registration and quiz is due September 19th

  7. Constitutions • Constitution updates must be done by Friday September 19th to avoid suspension • New Requirements for every club: • Anti-Hazing guidelines • Jurisdiction

  8. Examples of Jurisdiction and Anti-Hazing • The Jurisdiction part should say something close to the following: “The (insert club name) is subject, as a registered student organization, to the rules, regulations, and policies of UNF and the laws of the State of Florida. The rules, regulations and policies of UNF shall hold precedence over any and all rules, regulations, and policies applying to the (insert club name), including those of national organizations with which the (insert club name) is associated. • The Anti-Hazing guidelines should be similar to the following: “The organization will not conspire to engage in hazing or commit any act that causes or is likely to cause bodily danger, physical harm, or personal degradation or disgrace resulting in physical or mental harm to any fellow student or person.” It should also include UNF’s policy on hazing: “Hazing is defined as any action or activity of any group or individual which recklessly or intentionally endangers the mental or physical health or safety of a student for the purposes including, but not limited to, initiation or admission into or affiliation with any organization operating under that sanction of the University.”
