  2. About Me • “You win some, you lose some. But you live, you live to fight another day” • Born and raised in Lindsay, recently moved to Visalia • Family of 5 • Been in sports all4 years • Clubs • AVID • Spanish Club • Link Crew

  3. Goals in Life • Becoming a Registered Nurse • Attending a University to further my education • Becoming a successful person • Make wise choices that lead me to success

  4. Plan A • Attend College of the Sequoias for two years and get my general education • Transfer to a CSU and get my Bachelors Degree in nursing • Find a job as an emergency room Registered Nurse

  5. Plan B • Attend College of the Sequoias for two years and receive my general education • Transfer to a CSU and get my Bachelors Degree in Criminology • Go to the police academy and hopefully promote to a narcotics position of some sort

  6. Journals • Journals basically summed up all of high school • Most memorable one was journal #8 • “Goodbye Past, Hello Future” • Included my plans after high school • What I have accomplished this year

  7. Senior Writing • Autobiographical Narrative • Struggles and obstacles I have faced • Valuable lessons I have been taught • Lessons learned from my dad • Research paper • “Pros and cons on abortion” • Very controversial topic

  8. Visual Rep • Softball has always kept me on track • I've played since I was in 3rd grade • Motivator that keeps me focused

  9. Job Shadow • Job shadowed school nurse Rhonda Smeeat Washington Elementary • Learned how to check temperatures and file paperwork when students are sick • Taught me that I need a lot of patience when dealing with others when they are in need

  10. What LHS has taught me • Becoming more mature and responsible • Living with the consequences of your mistakes or bad decisions • Friends come and go, but your family and true friends stay by your side • Always stay on top of your work

  11. Post High School Plans • Attend College of the Sequoias as the first step of my career • After I'm done with general education I will transfer to a California State University • CSU Long Beach • San Diego State University • Get my bachelors degree in nursing or criminology and get my career started!
