  3. UNDERSTANDING GOALS 1.The student will understand how to interpret and locate Rational Numbers and, through their properties, will apply them to pose and solve problems in different contexts. 2. The student will understand how geometry elements are related to his/her environment.

  4. 3. The student will identify the concepts of probability applying strategies in random situations with coherence.

  5. CONTENTS Rational Numbers: Concept, Graph on a number line, Equivalent Fractions, Renaming mixed number to improper fraction and vice versa, Basic Operations. Geometry: Reflections, Translations, Rotations, Dilations, Symmetry. Equations withRationals: Concept, Practice and SolvingStrategies.

  6. CONTENTS Probability: Probability Vocabulary,Sample Space, Tree Diagram, Theoretical and Experimental Probability, Compound Events.

  7. FINAL PROJECT RATIONAL NUMBERS EVERYWHERE !!! First Presentation: FromApril 24th to 30th Movie Second Presentation: From May 9th to 16th Poster Sketch Design
