Hunters & Gatherers • They hunted wooly rhino's ,mastodons , bison, and deer. • They gathered roots, berries ,nuts, seeds, and fruits. • They used technology to make the atlatl. • They lived in the Paleolithic period. • They used special skills and teamwork to hunt. • They hunted large animals and chased them off cliffs. • People later began to domesticate other wild animals for the food and the labor they provided. • The term livestock refers to domesticate d animals that provided such resorses.

Farmers & Herders • As time pasted they began planting the seeds of plants that grew fast and tasted good. • Cultivating crops meant that people stayed in one place. • Planting ,carrying for, and harvesting crops took many months. • Barley and wheat were among the first wild plants to be grown as crops , or domesticated plants. • As early as ten thousand years ago people began to domesticate animals or tame them for human use. • People later began to domesticate other wild animals for the food and labor be provided. • The term livestock refers to domesticated animals that provide such recourses. • Many of the early people who raised livestock were nomads.

The City's • CatalHuyuk they entered there houses from the roofs. • UR The people of ur had many specialized jobs. • Jericho This settlement was located north of the dead sea in the Jordan river valley. • Theses city’s had people with jobs that they are good at and they had to find food and things they needed.

  5. The summery of what we learned. • We have learned that technology was important to the early people to make there tools. They had to find there to hunt for food and when they got the hunt they used the bones as technology and tools.
