  9. Only 44 organisations included staff numbers in this part of the Census. The analysis below does not, therefore, purport to show the full membership of professional bodies across the North West’s Informatics staff. Professional Body Membership

Addendum: Additional Knowledge Management Staff From discussions with David Stewart, Director of Health Libraries NW, it is apparent that 54 Knowledge Management staff have been omitted from the returns. Their bandings are as listed below. They have NOT been included in the foregoing analysis. We will follow up with the 18 appropriate organisations (17 Trusts and 1 CCG) to ascertain why these staff were omitted. Including these staff brings the total number of NW Informatics staff up to 4,923
