  3. Objectives • Present the impact on English Learners’ academic achievement • Demonstrate the uniqueness of the Articulation Process • Show how each component positively impacts students

  4. The Goal of Articulation • The goal of articulation is to provide a systematic process to transfer accurate data on each student in an efficient way in order to place the child in the appropriate academic and support programs at Hollenbeck.

  5. The Articulation Process • Phase I - Meet with Elementary Leadership Staff and teachers • Phase II -Teachers fill out Transfer Data Cards and HMS Checklist • Phase III - HMS staff meets with Elementary parents • Phase IV – Elementary students and teachers visit HMS classrooms • Phase V - HMS articulation team reviews various factors to determine placement • Phase VI – Matrix and Master Schedule Development to meet the A-G requirements
