  5. B. Consulting Club Org Design (first draft) President Vice President Alumni and Careers Service Rep Events Coordination Rep Skills Development Rep Communications Rep Broader Club Membership • This was a first draft proposed by Kerri during the meeting and was well received by the group • This design employs functional roles aligned to club goals, rather than generic roles (e.g. Treasurer) • This proves a valuable starting point and we will iterate as required at the next meeting

  6. C. Consulting Club Next Steps • Before Next Meeting • All members list on commonroom.com.au the firms/areas in which they have initial interest for us to research as a club (especially any niche areas) • All members think about the contacts they have that we could leverage (we can discuss how we collect/ use this info at the next meeting) • All members come ready with ideas of how best we should organise the club- what organisational structure / roles / responsibilities? (building from Kerri’s first draft model) • All members please brainstorm their ideas on how we should achieve our goals, in particular, thinking up creative ways to engage the alumni, consulting professionals, recruiters and international consulting clubs, and what we can do to create a legacy- media hits, publication, events? • At Next Meeting • Decide on org structure (roles/responsibilities) and general methods of working (meeting regularity, times, process) • Discuss information gathered to date, including firms and areas of interest to the group, personal contacts and handover plan (if available) • Brainstorm and decide on methods for achieving goals- create initial action plans
