  4. The Mission Statement “To encourage the development of life-long ties for students whilst creating a positive and enjoyable learning environment”

  5. Objectives • Champion the needs and desires of the AGSM MBA community • Enhance the experience through developmental and social events • Foster greater ties with alumni and EMBA communities • Achieve a legacy • Improve the reputation of the AGSM

  6. Communication Two easy ways to keep aware of what’s going on: • Common room website: calendar and forum • 2. Weekly e-newsletter from academic affairs

  7. Club news • Events are in planning for 2008/09 • We are working through scheduling and budgeting with presidents • Things will ramp up pretty quick (Check Common Room club pages & MBA newsletter for latest news!)

  8. Facilities • Information Commons is ours • Common Room refurb • General refurb • Syndicate rooms – more AV facilities • Possibly more syndicate rooms…
