Medical Equipment Procurement Consulting Cost Negotiation: • We negotiate prices with the suppliers on behalf of our client. • Being an independent third party, and the fact that we have various other large clients supporting MEPC, gives us buying power to negotiate the best prices. • Suppliers will still invoice the client directly.

  9. Medical Equipment Procurement Consulting Three (3) Quotations: • MEPC will forward at least three (3) quotations to the client. • This will ensure that at least three options are considered. • Should the client prefer a specific supplier, make or model, that supplier’s quotation will also form part of the three quotations forwarded. • These three quotations will give the client a wider perspective of what technology is available.

  10. Medical Equipment Procurement Consulting Equipment Comparison: • A comparison sheet will be compiled by MEPC. • All specifications, advantages and disadvantages of different equipment will be compared with each other. • Accessory costs, after sales costs (services, spares) and warranties will also form part of these comparison sheets. • The comparison sheet will include a score card and colour coding, which will give a clear indication of the preferred option to meet the client’s needs. • Clients will be able to make a very well informed decision on which equipment to purchase using this comparison sheet feedback
