Study by diploma student Ralph Dollan on Xtal Calorimeter with Fiber Readout. Features segments of heavy crystals with individual fiber readout for optimal energy resolution, timing, and segmentation. Testing setup includes Cosmic Telescope and Ru-Source Calibration for PMTs. Evaluates light yield comparison between fiber and direct readout methods with consideration for cross talk. Future plans for cross talk studies, Čerenkov radiator readout, APD readout trials, and array PMT calibration.
