  2. THE CITY Paris is the capital and also the largest city in France. Paris is located on the river Seine, in northern France. This city holds an estimated population of 2,211,297 (January 2008). Today Paris is one of the world’s leading business and cultural centers. Paris is the most visited city in the world, known for fashion, media, education, science and entertainment.

  3. EVENTS There are 5 top events that happen in Paris they are Les Soldes (“The Sales”) Chinese New Year, French Open ( Roland Garros Tournament”, Fete de la Musique (as seen in the picture) and La Nuit Blanche. These are all well know and the most popular events in Paris from music, sports, celebrations, and shopping you are bound to find something you will love. Les Soldes take place on January 6- February 20 for winter sales and late June-July for summer, the Chinese New Year event take place on February 14th, the Roland Garros Tournament May 23- June 6, Fete de la Musique June 21st and the Nuit Blanche takes place in October.

  4. SIGHTSEEING The top six attractions in Paris are the Eiffel Tower the Louvre Museum, Centre Prompidou, Cite des Sciences ar de l’Industrie, Musee d’Orsay and the Arc de Triomphe. These are all amazing places to visit that everyone will enjoy. Some of these sightseeing areas are as old as 1793. To get a great view of Paris go to the Eiffel Tower, it is very tall and brings in 1.4 million visitors a year.

  5. Where To Stay There are so many wonderful places to stay in Paris. The top five 5 star places to stay in Paris are Hotel de Crillon, Le Royal monceau Raffles Paris, mon Hotel Paris, Hilton Are de Triompheparis and Hotel Plaza Athenee.   6. Where To Eat For delicious food and an elegant evening I would recommend L’AVEILLE . Its not a cheap place, but you will get your moneys worth. For a rustic but stunning environment and delicious food I would suggest LE CELADON. It is overall cheaper then L’ ACEILLE , with around 100 euros for two to dine.
