Winter Wonderland: Shoveling Snow and the Struggles of Cabin Fever

After a heavy snowfall of 96 cm overnight, boredom sets in on my street as we wait for the plow to clear the way. With utilities intact, the days stretch on as Dud and I tackle the epic task of shoveling our driveway. The fun turns into a crawl on hands and knees to reach Tim Hortons, only to find it closed after our arduous trek. Some neighbors face even longer waits, trapped in their homes for weeks. This winter saga captures the mix of childhood boredom and the unexpected challenges of a snow-covered world.

  15. 96 cm Overnight • Surprisingly enough.. didn’t lose utilities, power, phone, cable, etc. • 4 days before we were plowed out by loader. • Some people didn’t get plowed out for up to 2 weeks • Tim Horton would normally be a 3 minute walk.. Took 1hr 20 minutes to crawl on our hands and knees on top of snow to Tim’s (bored, house wacky)…. When we got there it was closed. 
