The project showcases conservation of energy through a series of interactions, from bumping the marble to displaying the flag. Torque and rotational energy are demonstrated, as different elements collide to create motion. The team faced challenges but worked together to construct the device with creativity and determination.

Project Overview The project before ours bumps the marble, sending it down the ramp. The marble then hits the rod which spins, sending the other marble down the ramp. It knocks the pipe loose which turns and hits the car out of the tunnel, displaying the flag.
Conservation of Energy Conservation of energy is demonstrated in the first step of our device.
Torque This step of our project demonstrates torque.
Rotational Energy As the pipe is knocked loose and spins around the screw, it demonstrates rotational motion.
Collision When the pipe hits the car it demonstrates collision.
We all had a lot of good ideas, and it was hard to decided as a team which would work the best. The hardest part of our project was figuring out a way to get our pipe to stand vertically and have it fall when the ball hits it. Our project took about 4 to 5 hours to construct plus the time we spent brainstorming. We all worked well together and enjoyed building our device. Final Thoughts
