When did they start? • They have been around since the late 1700’s, but they really started coming around in the late 1800’s when the Second Great Awaking came.
What do they do for me? • They can do many things like they can give out grants. • Helps raise money, food, or clothes for other organizations. • Help protest for good causes. • Gives people who need it new stuff like remodeling a house. • They pretty much do anything a regular organization does but promoting their religion.
Where can I find them in Joco? • They can be found anywhere in North Carolina, they are in almost every county. In some counties there are several organizations.
