  2. Panhellenic Background • 26 members groups • Started in 1902 – celebrating 100 years in 2002! Over 3.5 million women have been a part of Greek life • 14 NPC groups in Canada • 2 or more groups – UBC (7), Calgary (2), Alberta (4), Manitoba (3), Windsor (2), Western (6), Toronto (7), Ottawa (2), Carleton (2), McGill (4) • 1 Group only or no Panhellenic installed: Guelph, Brock, Waterloo, Concordia, Dalhousie, Laurier

  3. Purpose of Panhellenic • College Panhellenic associations are on campuses where there are at least two NPC member group chapters. • CPH's exist to develop and maintain fraternity life and interfraternal relations. • CPH's through their all-sorority programming efforts, often promote superior scholarship, leadership development and dissemination of information important to women in general. • The CPH is the coordinating body for recruitment
